The Gift of Christmas Charity of Your Choice Fundraising

Dear teachers Sunday school teachers, Children's Organizations Leaders and individuals,

River Valley Coimmunity Resource Center is hosting  The Gift of Christmas event.  This is an opportunity to participate in community fundraising.

This event will give 100% of proceeds to the charity or non-profit of your choice.  Participantion in this event is open Childrens Organizations, Schoolsm and individuals.

Let your imagination thrive!  The usage of media and supplies is not limited.  But your entries have to be appropriate for an family audience.  Please avoid controversial themes.  They must also be created by childen.  We are not looking for professionals but for talented and willing children.

Attach a tag with your name and the title of your item to the back side of the item.  Make a sign at leat  8.5"x11" in size that will be displayed with your item.  On this sign place your name or group name along with the name of your charity to which you are representing.

Item drop Off: November 25, 5:00 PM-8:00 PM or November 26, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM

Item Pick up: December 5, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

Now It Works:

You are inviting people to come and support your organization to come to the event and vote for your craft. 

To do so, they have to buy a voting ticket. Each ticket is $1. Each crafter will have a voting box placed next to the craft. You can buy as many tickets as you wish and vote as many times as you desire. Each ticket in your container will bring your non-profit or charity $1. The more people you invite and the more they vote, the more money you will make! At the end of the event, individuals will be assigned to count tickets. If you wish to be present for your ticket count, please has a representative available from your group.

All disbursements for proceeds will be made by check payable to your chosen non-profit or charity. Complete financial information can be made available by request. Disbursements will not be made payable to a business or an individual.
