The Gift of Christmas

An organization /business will decorate a tree no less than 6 ft tall with whatever theme they desire. This is a family event, open to the public. Any tree theme that is not appropriate for family/public viewing will not be accepted. To raise money for your organization or charity, you need to get people to vote on your tree!!! Each vote will cost $1/vote and your organization keeps all the money from the voting. A person can vote as many times as they wish.

The tree with the most votes will receive an additional prize of $100!!!

In order to participate you will decorate a tree not less than 6 feet tall. You will provide the tree, lights and decorations. You should create a sign no smaller than 8,5 "x 11" for your group that includes your business name and the charity name to which you are donating. Trees can be set

up on Wednesday, November 29th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. or on Thursday, November 30th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. After the event on December 1st, you should retrieve your tree and decorations on Saturday December 2nd from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. See the List of Requirements attached.

HOW THIS WORKS!!!

YOU ARE INVITING PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT YOUR ORGANIZATION TO COME TO THE EVENT AND VOTE ON YOUR TREE. TO DO SO THEY HAVE TO BUY VOTING TICKETS. Each ticket is $1.00.

They take their ticket and put it in your voting container. They can buy as many tickets as they wish and vote as many times as they desire. Remember each ticket in your container will bring your nonprofit organization or favorite charity $1.00. Please understand - the more people you get to come and vote on your tree, the more money you will make! Also, remember that the tree with the most votes will receive an additional $100 prize!!! Tickets will be counted at the end of the event. If you wish to be present when tickets are counted, please have representatives from

your group available.

All disbursement for proceeds will be made by check payable to your chosen nonprofit or charity. Complete financial infmmation will be provided upon request.
